A well known trademark must prove that its goodwill and reputation is across the nation and across categories of goods and services. A well known mark can be registered as Defensive mark in Bangladesh in respect of identical goods. Once registered, the registered proprietor can take legal action against unauthorized access or misuse of a well-known trademark in Bangladesh.
